Outcomes View
For the outcomes view we chose a scatter plot to show clusters of outcomes at the same point in time. We chose a set of coloured glyphs to easily distinguish between the different outcome types. The Outcomes View is aligned horizontally with the Interventions View. For each trial, values are displayed on a scatter plot, indicating the measured outcome at a specified time. Icons are described in an associated legend. Outcomes are divided in two panes "Efficacy Outcomes" and "Safety Outcomes".

As with the Interventions View, the user can select and filter on outcome type using check boxes in the legend area. This filtering will update all other views. For example we may be interested in finding out the trials where the safety outcome "Mother Anemia" were evaluated:
