I've been using DIaMOND for a while and I just switched to a new project. Why don't I see any of my classes/slots?
DIaMOND's highlighting and filtering is done at the application level. If filtering was turned on when you last closed DIaMOND, it will be on when you open the new project. Since nothing is interesting yet, everything is filtered.
Fix: remove degree of interest filter.
I've been working in the class tab for a while using DIaMOND and I just switched to a new tab (e.g. Slots). Why don't I see any of my slots?
DIaMOND's highlighting and filtering is synchronized accross tabs. If filtering was turned on in one tab, it will be on when you move to a new tab. If nothing is interesting yet, everything will be filtered.
Fix: remove degree of interest filter.
I've just installed DIaMOND. Why don't I see any of the menus?
If participating in the user study, you will know DIaMOND is correctly installed if, when you restart Protégé, you are asked for your consent to participate. DIaMOND's menus will not appear until the initial two week period has passed. The overview page explains the study design further.
If you were not asked for your consent, possible fixes are:
- verify the plugin was unzipped to the correct directory e.g., C:\Program Files\Protege_3.2_beta\plugins\ca.uvic.cs.diamond.protege
- verify you are using the correct version of Protégé. DIaMOND requires Protégé version 3.2.
Why do I need to move the "ca.uvic.cs.diamond.protege" directory when updating Protégé?
DIaMOND collects information about your usage history in order to determine which concepts to highlight or filter. This historical information is kept in the "ca.uvic.cs.diamond.protege" directory.
